Last summer we had the pleasure of making a music video with the talented Mr.Fred Feller about the mysterious origins of Orchestra Green. After sifting through years of lore, Fred, an expert of historical real life filmography restoration, was able to create this masterpiece. No yetis were harmed during the filming of this video.

How could you not love the fall? For me it’s filled with memories of returning to campus and busting out the jeans and sweatshirts. Here’s a list of things to do in the fall, that in my opinion, make it what it is.

1.Go apple and pumpkin picking
2.Carve said pumpkins
3.Bake an apple and/or pumpkin pie
4.Have a bon fire
5.Go on a glider ride
6.Go for a hike
7.Brew your own apple cider (or hard apple cider)
8.Make apple cider donuts
9.Visit Salem, MA.
10.Watch football

Greetings, everyone! The last month has proven itself quite useful. We’ve begun work on some new songs which should be seeing the light of day sometime this summer, as well as shooting some video with our friend Fred Feller for our first About The Band short. We’ll be finishing up the filming in the coming weeks, and look forward to sharing our creation!
Until next time, here’s a cool looking picture of a library with a tree in it.

Until tomorrow, Kevin W. McCarthy’s eBook, ‘The On-Purpose Person: Making Your Life Make Sense’ is available for free here. I powered through it the last few days, and it’s definitely worth the effort. Arm yourself with that book and this mix, and you’ll be better for it come the end of the weekend, I promise!

Thanks to Einstein, It’s known in theory (and proven in experimentation, unless you believe this.) that if two identical twins exist, and one is sent off into space on a spaceship traveling near the speed of light while the other remains on Earth, the space bound twin will return to find her sibling having aged significantly more then herself. Well, what happens if they are very close and webcamed the entire time they were away from each other? I’d like to see what that webcam session looked like. And I bet you thought this post was going to be inappropriate when you read the title.

Sometimes, I wish life was like being chased by a dinosaur. When you’re full of fear, you know exactly what your immediate goal is, even if you don’t know exactly how you are going to do it. You just know you gotta get the hell out of there before you become someones dinner. There’s no hesitation, no time wasted in procrastination and no getting overloaded with the details to a point of inaction. Just immediate action. If all of life’s goals were as immediate as being caught in a chase for dear life from a dinosaur, our achievements, individually and as a whole, would be amazing. You don’t have to know exactly how you’re going to do something, you just have to start doing something.

It’s certainly been quite some time. We’ve done some living and working, but we’re back on track now. If you’ve never heard of us before, hello! My name is Ben. I work for Original Skateboards, and when I’m not doing that, I play in this band called Orchestra Green with my brother, Matt, and past college roommate, James. We released a few EPs and an album that you can listen to here if you’d like. If you do, please send on over a tweet and let me know what you think! We always appreciate a good comment!

We’re going to be recording a new album this July with producer Rob Freeman in the Pilot Studios. We’ll be sure to give you lots of updates and keep you in the loop! Until then, feel free to leave a comment and say hello, we love some good conversation!
